Louisiana’s Biggest Casino Project Eyes 2025 Launch in Bossier City

Live Casino logoA new casino project in Bossier City is claiming to be the biggest casino project in the state and hopes to rival Las Vegas staples such as Caesars, the Bellagio, and more.

Live! Casino and Hotel Louisiana hopes to open in the first quarter of 2025. LRGC Gaming Investors LLC, an affiliate of Cordish Companies, is developing the project. The company is no stranger to the US gambling market with properties already in several states, including Texas, Missouri, and Maryland.

Cordish is investing nearly $300 million in the Louisiana casino project. Bryan Prettyman has recently been promoted to senior vice president of property operations and has more than 36 years of experience in the gambling industry. Prettyman has held leadership positions in multiple markets across the United States, including New Jersey, Mississippi, California, Illinois, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and Louisiana.

Tommy Chandler, the Bossier City Mayor, said the casino project is the biggest venture in the city for a long time. The project is expected to produce 750 construction jobs and 750 permanent gaming jobs, and the payroll is expected to exceed more than $30 million annually.

Are Online Casinos Legal In LA?

Louisiana has yet to authorize domestic casinos to offer their services online; however, online casinos in the USA are available to players over 18. Since no federal or state laws forbid gambling online, players can sign up and wager without breaking any laws.

Online casinos generally feature titles you often find on the game room floor and more since their digital libraries have no cap. In addition to classics such as blackjack, roulette, slots, craps, video poker, and specialty games, players will also find live dealer games at select sites. Live games are offered over a secure video and audio feed where players can choose their seats at the table and communicate with the dealer and sometimes other players.

Are Online Casinos Legit?

While not all sites are the same, the online casinos we review are all legitimate because they operate legally, hold licensing from trusted regulators, and have a stellar player reputation.

All the sites we recommend have been tested by our staff and proven legitimate. Sites that offer lucrative bonus options, multiple player-friendly banking options, fast withdrawals, and player rewards, in addition to their legal standing, are often safe bets.
